Little Creek Farm Story

Our goal two years ago, was to produce quality meat ourselves to feed our growing family, that was not only nutritious but also better quality for our family. After one year of growing and many friends and family saying our meat was the best they have had in a while, we decided to take that same great product, and sell it to our local community, so they too could enjoy fresh meat locally. Shayne and Lena both went to college for agriculture and worked on local dairy farms for several years before transitioning to begin growing our family.

Shayne a 5th generation farmer, grew up around dairy, and farming his entire life. His passion was to farm on his own as a little kid, and hopefully take over the family farm one day. Shayne found a love for pasture farming, and growing pigs, and chickens, and decided to turn that into a business.

Lena a 1st generation farmer, got her love for agriculture, while attending Morrisville State College for Agricultural Business, and wanted to further her education and continued on to Cornell University, where she majored in Animal Science. Her love for Agriculture continued on after school where she worked on a local dairy, before moving onto Crop Adjusting.

We have two young boys Isaac and Salvatore, Isaac is 11 and enjoys being in 4-h and spending time on the farm. Isaacs passion is chickens, he is beginning to show poultry, and learn as much about raising chickens as he can. Salvatore is 5 months old, and growing fast, and loves watching us work on the farm. We hope to build a farm, that one day our children will be able to take over and enjoy as much as we do. We would love to see the 6th generation continue on a passion that has been in our family for generations!

Our goal is to bring our love for Agriculture, and passion for quality products to the local community, and share our love for regenerative farming with others along the way.
